Warmer, longer
Since I felt so good yesterday, and since I awoke early this morning, I went straight into the middle of town, to Great Falls High, then Charlotte's house for a drink of water. It was nice, but kind of dull, being on a straight line through plain old neighborhoods. Good to see C and the girls, however. All were ready for school, and it was just 6:30 a.m.
A downside of that route, aside from its routineness, is that it's kind of uphill on the way home -- not bad but enough to make me wish it was the other way around.
Ran into a couple of other runners, almost literally in the case of the mother of one of Nora's classmates. I was plodding along on the return trip, listening to my radio and looking about two feet in front of me. I reached a corner, and she popped up from the left, apparently doing the same thing.
It was overcast and, therefore, warmer this morning -- 56 according to my computer's Weatherbug reading. I felt good, but probably shouldn't have gone quite that long.
