On the river, lots of cool pics

After working about six hours today, I came home, put on my togs and set out for the north shore country.

There's 6 inches or so of snow on the ground, and it's just about freezing, without a cloud in the sky.

It was a gorgeous (sorry 'bout that word again) day and run, through untracked snow. I put on the YakTrax, too, but otherwise was jacketless.

The wildlife count was good ... half a dozen mule deer, and one big bald eagle. This is mostly a picture run, so enjoy!

Coming ...

... and going.

Tall man says howdy from the north shore of the Mighty Mo.

What it looks like to me.

Note the mule deer ears right at the bottom, near the middle.

I just liked this view.

Ooh look! An eagle!

A clearer, though less sharp, view.

Thar she (he) blows. Spooked 'im.

He's at the right, about halfway up/down vertically.

Another tall man.

The old works

WOW! Those eagle pix are great -- I can't wait to see one "live in person" sometime soon. As always - thanks for sharing the pix, Mose!
