Thar be rainbows, with pics

So I'm still not running, on doctor's advice, but I'm feeling better and riding my bike to work these days.

Still, as long as I don't sneeze or cough, my ribcage is OK; the shingles are very slowly improving, and the sinus stuff is mostly gone. I guess that means trends are favorable.

I am seriously in need of losing some weight and getting in shape in the next 2-1/2 months. I think it's doable, but it'll take some seriousness. I'm good at seriousness.

The pictures are in our neighborhood; I went to the garage with the intention of making more tomato cages, but it started storming, resulting in a while in the most vivid rainbow I can remember. The pics don't do it justice.

In Nebraska we thought of these as hail clouds. Charlotte called them "upside-down clouds." I like her version better, and they are beautiful (as is she).

A pot of gold must be in the neighbors' house across the street.

The scene — the alley behind my house — isn't pretty, but it was one of the most vivid 'bows I've seen, and I've seen a lot of them.

Those clouds were great -- got a couple of pix myself -- but I missed that spectacular rainbow!
