Long from the gym
It's a nice Saturday, so I decided to wander from the gym in midmorning after working for a few hours. The place was pretty full, but no one was outside. I went down through the dunes, over to River Road and up onto the "peak," on which I took the long route around to the south. I've noted before that the grazing horses are encroaching up there, but I'm sure their owners pay for it.
I found a way through the tight fence and ran on the old trail that ends up near 13th Street. I got to it circuitously, and retraced my steps on the way back.
Nice day, about 50 degrees and mostly sunny. My Nano is giving me trouble. The battery doesn't last more than an hour and a half, which is not good — especially considering what those things cost. I'll look online and see if there's a way to rejuvenate it; I've heard there's no replacing them. We'll see.
