Staying dry

It rained a lot yesterday, so I stuck to the pavement today, going southeasterly to the odd neighborhood of Beths and Alices, winding around in there from 8th Ave S down to, eventually, Central, and back home.

It's an interesting morning — not too cold, probably low 40s, but very windy. And even though it's a south wind, it's chilly. I was glad I had light gloves and a headband.

Saw no one, but a light went off overhead as I passed the school. I did not feel great. A later run yesterday combined with being on my feet most of the day must be the reason, because I felt tired today, despite — or maybe because of — awakening early.

Tomorrow's the election, and Wednesday I head out for a week's vacation in Nebraska. I'll be ready for it.
