Back indoors
I had intended to take to the streets today, but it's too cold again, even for me — 13 below right now, with a breeze. We spent the weekend deconstructing an upstairs bedroom, the family room and the downstairs bathroom in preparation for a big repair job that starts this morning (long story involving a broken pipe, upheaving basement, etc). The event happend several years ago, and we're finally getting the work done, satisfied that the cracking isn't getting any worse. Fortunately, the damage is minor and interior. The brick exterior is intact.
Anyway, all of that and below-zero temps all weekend by way of explaining this three-day break. Today, I did three miles in the gym, two on the eliptical and a full circuit on the Cybex machines. Felt good, but bored. Finished the book, Revolutionary Road. It's pretty good, but I'm certain C wouldn't like it or the movie. I'm kind of curious to see the movie, though.
