Woo hoo; the cemetery from home

After yesterday's test run, I did the unextended cemetery route today, and felt pretty good for all that. The only gnarly place was the dirt between Social Security and Centene, a muddy, icy two-track that is frozen and thus either really bumpy or slippery. It's short, though, so I just went slowly through it.

Cool out this morning, probably 30, with a southwest breeze. Moon is down to about a quarter, but it's so clear that even that little bit helped on the remote paths.

The cemetery's streets are nice and clear, and there was little traffic anywhere. A light went out in front of the high school, but otherwise an uneventful run. No other pedestrians of any kind.

I'm about three-fourths of the way through Revolutionary Road, the novel on which the current film is based. I have a theory about where the story's headed; it'll be interesting to see if it goes there.
