Well now ... a coupla weeks of running short

I'll have a picture or two later, but am happy to report that I've gotten through the various foot, cold-bug, toe and other problems and am happily at it again, though it's going to be a slow recovery.

I started while on vacation or just before. Nora and I went a mile one morning in GF, and I went 1.5 another morning. Then, in Lincoln we did another 1 miler, I did a 1.5, then a 3.5 (very slow, looking for the source of our Spring Creek). I heard herons and a small coyote pup to the north one of the mornings, then Nora and I did a 1.5 in the same spot and actually saw the pup. Let's see, that's a total of 10 from Aug. 8 to 20.

Back in GF this past week, I did a 2 (to C's school and back, roundabout), and a couple of ones from a parking lot out to Tail Race Island, one of them with Nora.

Finally, this morning I did a 1.5 from the office, over the RR bridge and in a loop on the new west bank stretch of trail, including right on the bank. That brings me to a total of 15.5 so far in August. Holy cow! That takes me over 100 for the year (horrible, but better than nothing).

15.5; 15.5; 15.5; 101.5

Glad to see you're recovering--and running with Nora! Cool. Have you ever looked at Dailymile? Beca, Hannah, and I all log our workouts there. Sort of a Facebook for runners (or cyclists, or whatever).
