Back to the river
Back in Lincoln, the tall man says howdy on a chilly (39 degrees) morning on my old Blackfoot route, with the new twist of slipping through the fence at the far end and going up the side of the pasture to a different branch of the main road.
Saw lots of deer, including fawns, today, and two sandhill cranes were making a racket on a hillside above me.
Pretty close to the middle of this picture, you can see the silhouette of one of the cranes. The second is there, too, but it's more in the trees.
Otherwise a routine run, though still a little stiff from the flat run on Saturday. Was up to about 50 by the time I was done.
