Farther under the doctor's orders

Carlo accompanied me again today, doing a run-walk regimen that kept him up with me more or less. But then he took it upon himself to push my farther than I really wanted to go. It was OK; we were able to chat enough, including reminiscing about our old track glory days, that it passed the time nicely.

This is the view of the university's ag station (wine and olives, I guess) that's east of Carlo's house. It's also where we turned around today, more than a quarter mile past yesterday's.

This is looking a little farther east from the same spot. Felt good, though the thighs are a little stiff today. Another beautiful day: 17 at last check, which is 62 F by my calculations. If it does that one more day, I may sample the pool after running. Carlo translated its temp to be 55, which is about what my Spring Creek in Montana stays at.

3.5; 3.5; 6.5; 6.5
