Too darn hot

Ran about 9 a.m. and already it was too damn hot in the sun (high 70s and no wind). So it's appropriate that my first pic today is the little bridge over Keep Cool Creek.

There are some beautiful cinquefoil bushes along here, though. I ran up onto the high ground on the state land on this snowmobile path. Picked up a lot of wild oats and my shins got lashed by the grass and are super itchy now. Ugh.

The turnaround spot is pretty nondescript. Very little altitude change also. Only unusual thing today was several small planes buzzing around the airport, which isn't far from where I ran.
